Astraios is a national network of chamber musicians committed to the development of the interaction between musicians and audience members as a way of enhancing creativity and the entire musical experience.

We believe that the audience is part of the performance!  Astraios concerts are informal events that include audience activities as we explore new pieces and old favorites from the chamber music repertoire.

Astraios was founded in 2007 and has presented concerts in Colorado and Virginia. Our programs have included a concert on music and religion at a Benedictine Abbey; a program on music and healing given as a fundraiser for a cancer center; and a recital of nature sounds given in conjunction with a nature hike in the mountains of Colorado.
