Astraios musicians Ruth Ann Ritchie (flute), Claudia Jones (violin), Eric Jones (viola) and Michael Jones (bassoon) will present selections from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Schubert’s Die Erlkonig, a musical telling of Aesop’s Fables...and more!  Ever wonder why composers assign certain characters to certain instruments?  Are you curious how the musicians talk to each other without saying a word?  Join us for an afternoon of chamber music and conversation!  You’ll have your chance to tell us what YOU hear the instruments saying!  And be sure to stay for a post-concert reception with the musicians!
